St Augustine's turn on the style at their 2008 school prom

STUDENTS from St Augustine's School were "a credit to the school" when they attended their end of term prom.

Deputy headteacher Mark Taylor said the 85 students did the school proud at the annual event. Students dressed to impress for the prom which took place at the Crown Spa Hotel.

Twenty members of staff also attended the event which included a buffet, presentation and disco. Mr Taylor said: "It was a lovely evening and the students were fantastic.

They all looked lovely and they all had a great time. "They have just finished their GCSEs and it was a chance for them to let their hair down and enjoy themselves. I would say it is one of the best proms we have ever had."
