Setting the right climate

Sustainable Scarborough has organised a new food group which holds monthly meetings at the Climate Centre in Hanover Road.

Its first meeting was on Friday, March 13, and the topics for discussion included the possibility of launching a farmers' market, cookery demonstrations, community supported agriculture,

allotments and urban gardening.

A spokesman said it was an open meeting and anyone who was interested in what the group was doing was welcome to attend.
