Compost container sale day

A ONE-DAY compost container sale will take place at Crossgates Community Centre from 10am to 1pm on Saturday March 17.

The York and North Yorkshire Waste Partnership is reducing the price of compost containers to £8 for the sale, an offer which is available to all residents in North Yorkshire but aimed particularly at those living in Scarborough.

Both Scarborough Council and Ryedale District Council are jointly supporting this event as a practical waste minimisation initiative.
