STUDENTS braved the weather and made a night-time trip back to college to help out at Scarborough Sixth Form’s open evening.
Youngsters came from as far as Bridlington to attend the event at the college in Sandybed Lane.
The evening was an opportunity for prospective students to meet staff and current students and find out more about the college.
Visitors were able to watch mock trials in Law, see heart dissection in biology and admire a display of student’s artwork.
They were also able to see the progress of the £1 million investment into the college, including the new music department, the new Askham Bryan building and the development of a new social study space.

Vice Principal, Rowan Johnson, said: “We were impressed with the number of people who visited despite the snow.”
Anyone who missed the open evening can call (01723) 380722 to arrange a tour of the college.
