A driver has been cut free from a stock car following an accident at Hunmanby grass track.

North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue crews from Scarborough and Whitby were called to the incident in Hunmanby today (July 18).

One female was cut free from a stock car. Her injuries are not believed to be serious.

Yorkshire Air Ambulance was also called to the incident.

Tony Walker, station manager for Scarborough district, tweeted: "Great joint effort with fire, police, ambulance and air ambulance."
