A man has been charged with fraud after reports of a scammer calling at doors in Bridlington, claiming he was selling seafood.

His arrest comes after several calls to police about a man taking money from pensioners and saying he would bring them the fish but then not returning.

The incidents were reported between December 9 and January 13.

The man has been charged with six counts of fraud and has been remanded in custody by the courts.
