Success after a taxing time
A FILEY accountant has seen two years of study and 12 hours of exam time pay of after passing the Chartered Tax Association exam.
Phil Thompson, 35, from Filey is now one of only a few accountants in the area the area to have passed the exam.
Mr Thompson, who works at Bridlington-based Lloyd Dowson, said: "After a lengthy period of study I am proud to have attained the most prestigious qualification in tax and also very relieved to have my private life back.
"Not only is this a huge achievement for me personally, but it should also give our clients further confidence that the tax and business advice they receive from Lloyd Dowson is of the highest standard."
