Hotel is top with guests
A FAMILY-RUN Scarborough hotel has been voted as one of the best in country by customers of a coach holiday company.
The Boston Hotel, in Queen's Parade, was not only awarded a Good Hospitality Award from David Urquhart Travel but also the company's Premier Award after being selected from more than 300 hotels across the country.
The hotel has been run for the past two years by Andrew Woodall and Gary
Whitton.
Mr Woodall, who used to run the hotel with his mother and father, said: "We have been working with the tour operator for around 25 years and we usually win the Good Hospitality Award, however we have never won the Premier Award.
"It means a lot to us as the awards are voted for by customers who have stayed with us.
"We aim now to continue to work hard and keep going forward, and hope to win it again next year."
