TIME is running out to have your say on the future development of the Mere and Oliver's Mount.
A new website has been launched by Scarborough Council giving residents who missed the two public consultations last month a chance to voice their opinions and learn more about the proposals.
However, all comments need to be received by next Thursday in order for the final proposals to go before the council for approval by the end of June.
Alex Richards, project officer at the council, said: "The opinions of the public are very important to the future development. We welcome all views and will take into consideration all ideas put forward. Please let us know what you think, whether you agree with an entire concept, or think the whole thing is ridiculous, we want to hear. It may be that you like the a mixture from all the concepts. Whatever you think if you want to make a difference you need to let us know about it."
Scarborough Council has worked with consultants TEP to put together the concepts, which include a multi-million-pound equestrian centre, a 4 or 5 star hotel, eco lodges, and an extreme outdoor pursuits centre.
Residents are being asked to comment on their likes and dislikes about the four concepts, as well as highlighting which formal and informal facilities and activities they would like to see on the site.
To see details of each concept, including maps illustrating the locations of the proposals, or to make your comments visit www.scarborough.gov.uk/regeneration.
