CREEPY crawlies and furry friends will be making an appearance at a special event in Dalby Forest.
An animal workshop with tarantulas, snakes, ferrets and a bearded dragon will be held at the visitor centre on Tuesday February 16.

The creatures will be taken along by Marie Conway, of Animals Intuition, who lives in Falsgrave.

Miss Conway said: "It will be a general animal-handling session and an opportunity to help people get over any fears they may have.

"I find that children tend to be more up for handling them than the adults – it's the parents who are usually more scared!

"I've done a couple of these workshops before and they tend to be really popular."

The forest sessions are suitable for anyone aged five or over and will be on from 10.30am-noon and 1-2.30pm.

For details call (01751) 472771.
