THE school prom was a bittersweet occasion for students from St Augustine's School as they gathered at the Spa to bid farewell to their schooldays.

St Augustine's does not have a Sixth Form so the students will all be heading off to pastures new this summer.

Organiser Mica Stewart said: "Around 90 students attended the Prom and, although it was a very emotional evening without a dry eye in the house, it was great fun as well."
