A TEENAGE girl has told a jury she began self harming after being raped three times.
The girl has alleged that Martin Fox, 38, a water bailiff formerly of Rowan Close, Barrowcliff, Scarborough, carried out the rapes between December 2007 and June last year.

Speaking via a video link at his trial at York Crown Court, she alleged one of the offences took place in the back of Fox's Land Rover when he was living rough in the vehicle following a row with his wife.

He is also alleged to have taken indecent photographs of the girl with his mobile phone camera last year.

Fox, now of Castle Ing Road, Knaresborough, has denied the three rape charges and two of taking indecent photographs of a child.

Matthew Bean, prosecuting, told the jury that matters came to light after the indecent photographs were seen by another person. The girl denied a suggestion from Ann Mundy, defending, that she had taken the photographs herself. The trial continues.
