SHIVER me timbers – they're getting hitched!
Swashbuckling Scarborough man Brad Heelbeck pressganged partner Jessie Hopkins into accepting his proposal at her pirate-themed 21st birthday bash last week.
Buccaneering Brad, 24, popped the question at the party, held at the Durham Hotel in North Marine Road.
And now the two plan to splice much more than their mainbrace!
Jessie told the Evening News: “It’s fantastic – I didn’t expect it at all.
“It’s just a complete surprise.
“Let’s just say my timbers are well and truly shivered!”
