Published Date: 04 July 2008
A UFO hunter has spoken out about a recent breakthrough in his search for other life forms.
Russ Kellett, of South Crescent, Filey, has gathered data spanning 30 years about flying saucers but believes this latest development could be an essential part of his research.

Mr Kellett, 45, has been working with an expert in image enhancement to look back at video and photographic evidence.

The expert, who Mr Kellett did not wish to name, found that some light sources on the footage could not be identified as man-made or natural light.

Mr Kellett said: "The equipment he used can identify all kinds of light known to man, but he was not able to explain the type of light on the video.

"We were able to rule out certains things but were still left with an unidentifiable source of light.

"People are usually gobsmacked when they see this footage and I think this new evidence speaks for itself."

Mr Kellett said numbers of UFO sightings in North Yorkshire had dipped over the last couple of years but were starting to go up again.

He added that the British UFO Hunters team receive more report forms for sightings in North Yorkshire than anywhere else in the UK apart from West Yorkshire, making the region something of a "hotspot".

Put the footage up so we can all be gobsmacked, while i admire the search for proof of true ufos for want of a better word. Nothing of the above gives any proof.
What have you told us about anything? All we here is hot air and daft claims that never amount to anything from this filey expert

I suggest that interested parties visit the website 'ILF ufo '(search on google).
You will see the extent of activity in the Bridlington, whitby and east yorkshire area.
The site is run by Paul Sinclair
Read alo the Bridlington Free Press reports on the site from March 2007.
Those who have witnessed a ufo have few doubts.

What no Phantom Deleter? hardly suprising!! it looks like all the usual commenters have either gone down with deletion sickness or have been taken off to another planet by a UFO.

Great news feature though and a good advert for the 'Flying Saucer Review' a JP publication no doubt.

Perhaps this solves the mystery of where the elusive and secretive Benchmark people have come from?

Eng-Like you may have hit upon something here, both the Mrs and myself have seen bright lights in the Sands area.

Mind'st we have also seen Faries at the bottom of the garden and Elves and Gnomes, it largely depends on how many glasses of home made wine we consume.

I also have a theory that the Scarborough Police are in fact aliens. They are unable to breathe the oxygen in the air in this town, and therefore have to ride around all the time in specially adapted vehicles that look like police cars but which are in fact equipped with alien life-support systems.
