A SCOOTER rider was injured in a Scarborough road traffic accident.
The accident happened in Ramshill Road when a red Honda scooter was in collision with a black Volvo car.

First on the scene was taxi driver Robert Rimmington.

He said: “I was just a couple of cars behind the scooter and got straight out of the cab to help him. He was lying on the floor and drifting in and out of consciousness.” The scooter rider is believed to have sustained an injury to his shoulder. A police spokesman confirmed the rider had sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene.
