Roadworks which require temporary traffic lights and the closure of some lanes include:
l The Victoria Road and Northway junction. Work will be going on all week replacing existing traffic signals and pedestrian crossings.
l Traffic signal equipment is being installed at the Valley Bridge and Ramshill Road junction and stop/go boards will be in use on Thursday between 9.30am and 3pm to complete the road markings. It is hope the permanent switch on of the lights will follow.
l Lights will also be permanently switched on at the West Street and Prince of Wales Terrace junction.
All the roadworks are part of the construction of Scarbor- ough Integrated Transport Scheme, which aims to address key transport elements in the town. They include the park and ride, bus priority measures, and traffic control systems.
