The winner of the contest – organised by North Yorkshire County Council's Adult and Community Services – will receive £200 of vouchers to spend on photographic equipment, courtesy of Drax Power Station, near Selby.
Runners-up prizes include a Lexus watch, a weekend pass to David Lloyd health club and a cut and blow-dry from Chris Hammond Hair in Northallerton.
The winning entries will be framed by people with learning disabilities and displayed in county-wide exhibitions during autumn.
County Councillor Chris Metcalfe, executive member for Adult and Community Services, said: "It will be a celebration of the diverse talents and achievements of people with learning disabilities."
Entries must be received by September 1 and should be sent to: Communications, Adult and Community Services, North Block, County Hall, Northallerton, DL7 8AD or by email to acs.comm unications@northyorks.gov.uk
Photographs should be clearly marked on the reverse with the entrant's name, address and e-mail address if appropriate.
