A SCARBOROUGH church is once again taking part in the Heritage Open Days event.
St Andrew’s United Reformed Church, in Ramshill, will be open from 10.30am to 3.30pm on Friday, September 11 and Saturday, September 12.

The focus this year will be on the history of the building itself, which will be illustrated by a digital slide presentation lasting about 20 minutes, repeated at hourly intervals.

There will additional information on some of the people connected with the church – and the original church record books will be on display.

Some of the myths which have developed over the years will be dispelled, especially the much-quoted tale of the clock.

For more information about the open day, contact Mrs McNaughton on (01723) 369070.
