Missing woman plea

POLICE believe a missing North East woman could be in the Whitby area.
Lisa Atkinson, 37, was last seen at her Gateshead home on Monday. She is described as being 5ft 6ins tall, of medium build, with long dark hair tied up, wearing a black jacket, brown combat trousers and black Nike trainers.

Mrs Atkinson, who has a flower tattoo at the top of her left arm, was also carrying a shoulder bag and a large bag. Police are very concerned about her welfare and ask anyone with information on her whereabouts to contact Gateshead police on 0345 043 043
