Mini Cooper collision in Scarborough village

POLICE were called to Stone Quarry Road in Burniston after reports that a Mini Cooper was involved in a collision.
No other vehicles were involved in the smash at about 7am yesterday.

A Scarborough Police spokesman said the driver, who was believed to be from Chester-le-Street in County Durham, was uninjured and the car was later recovered.
