ROCK legend Meat Loaf will be heading to North Yorkshire like a "bat out of hell" this summer.
The larger than life character plays Castle Howard on Friday July 11 and completes a trio of top artists appearing at the venue which also hosts shows by Katie Melua and reformed, Boyzone.

Meat Loaf (right) has a string of worldwide hits including You Took the Words Right Out of my Mouth, It’s All Coming Back To Me Now and I’d Do Anything For Love (But I Won’t Do That).

He will be supported by South African rock star Arno Carstens.

Tickets go on sale at 9am on Friday and are available from Ticketline, Ticketmaster, The Grand Opera House in York or Castle Howard.
