A SCARBOROUGH residential home is gearing up for its annual dog show tomorrow.
Cloughton Beeches Care Home is holding the show at Raven Hall Hotel in Ravenscar to raise funds for bathroom refurbishments at the home.
The event features 14 fun classes including retrieve a sausage, an egg and spoon race, best condition and most handsome dog.
Points are available from each class and trophies will be awarded to the dog with the most and least points.
There is also a cake stall, tombola and raffle with prizes such as dog food and treats, which have been donated by Four Oaks Pet Supplies and other pet shops in Scarborough.
Sue Pudney, manager of Cloughton Beeches Care Home in Mill Lane, said: “The show is always very good fun and really entertaining.
“Last year we had 35 dogs and nobody went home without a prize.”
Entries to the show are taken from 1pm and the show starts at 2pm.
