A SCARBOROUGH man, who admitted harassing his former girlfriend, has had his sentencing adjourned by magistrates.
John Robinson, 45, of Knipe Point Drive, was previously issued with a restraining order banning him from contacting Andrea Schofield except through a solicitor or in the presence of a district judge.

Robinson was due to be sentenced at Scarborough Magistrates' Court on Thursday, but the case was put off as he had been too unwell to schedule an appointment with the probation service

Franklyn Garvey, in mitigation, said he felt Robinson's illness had been exacerbated by the landslip situation at Knipe Point. Robinson was bailed to appear on May 29.
