THE latest addition to Seamer Road's retail park opened today with the help of two four-legged friends.
Pets at Home opened its doors with special guests Terry and Dexter, two dogs from Scarborough and Whitby Dog Rescue. Store general manager Mark Deighton said: “It has been a great day for pets in Scarborough.”

The opening celebrations will carry on into the weekend with cheerleaders from the Benson Dance Academy, who will perform a specially choreographed cheer routine with a chant dedicated to Pets at Home between 1pm and 2pm tomorrow and Sunday.

There will also be face painters and a balloon modeller.
