CHRISTMAS shoppers have been urged to spend some of their cash at Filey School PTFA's craft and gift fayre on Saturday November 28 – to help raise funds for school activities.
More than 20 stalls will be selling products including hand-made cards, jewellery, beaded bags and pashminas, homebaked cup-cakes, flower arrangements, Usborne books, Jamie Oliver at Home, Phoenix cards, water colour artwork, personalised mugs and crystal, Avon products, fair trade gifts, plants, wreaths and many other items.

A spokeswoman said: "The PTFA raised over £1,200 last year, which enabled us to make substantial donations to various curriculum areas which obviously benefits our students immensely."

The event will run from 10.30am until 4pm in and around the school hall. Admission is free and there will be free tea or coffee on arrival.
