It will feature a massive range of attractions including: a dog show; rabbits and cavies; flowers, fruit and vegetables; arts and crafts; birds of prey; helicopter rides; drive a JCB; Army assault course; bouncy castles; vintage carousel; classic cars; target archery; reverse a trailer competition and more.

There will also be a children's writing competition judged by Scarborough authors GP Taylor and Ginny Forrest. The closing date is August 16.

Show organiser Tina Lewis said: "There is so much taking place at the show. There's lots to do and see that will keep all ages entertained."
"The writing competition is a great opportunity for budding writers to get their work judged by leading authors."

The Yorkshire Rat Club will also be holding a Pet Fancy Rat Show on the day.

Publicity officer Kate Rattray said: "We invite anyone who owns rats to come along, enter their rats in the show, and enjoy a fun day out.

"We also invite people to come along and learn more about these wonderful, friendly and intelligent creatures, and perhaps even hold or stroke one."
