Crowning glory for May Queens

AN annual May Queen event is due to be held on Tuesday at Falsgrave Community Resource Centre.
The event is organised by The Edgehill Community Association and the role of May Queen is for four to 13 year olds.

The winner will appear at functions throughout the year at the centre in Seamer Road.

Last year’s winners were Demi Shelbourn in the five to eight year olds category and Naomi Rowe in the nine to 13 year olds category.

Doors open at 6.30pm and entry for spectators to the show is £1 for adults and 50p for children but under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.
