A TEENAGER who broke the jaw of Coronation Street star Mikey North after seeing the actor with his ex-girlfriend has been spared jail.

Stuart Stocks, 19, walked up to Mr North outside a bar in Scarborough town centre and said: "I suppose you think you're big and hard now you're famous," and punched him to the ground before he could reply.

The actor, whose parents live in Cayton, missed key storylines and still suffers from headaches, stress and anxiety as a result of the attack in North Street on April 11.
