YORKSHIRE Coast College is now offering new certified courses after becoming an official Adobe Training Centre.
Students wanting to pursue a career in graphic and multimedia can now take courses using three main software packages, Photoshop, Dreamweaver and Flash.

At the end of the courses, successful students will receive an internationally recognised qualification.

Five members of staff undertook intensive training at the New Technology Institute in Leeds, who provided the initial funding supported by Yorkshire Forward and are now fully qualified to teach the Adobe accredited courses.

Lecturer, Keith Wood said: “This is great news for the region as students get a qualification which can be used anywhere in the world. These qualifications can also be used as a pathway to study Graphic and Multimedia studies at degree level.

“We are very grateful to the NTI and Yorkshire Forward for the funding which has enabled us to offer these accredited courses.”
