Bus doors smashed on journey by youths

A BUS was attacked by youths as it drove along Westway in Eastfield.
The door windows were smashed causing £250 worth of damage.

Police believe the damage could have been caused by a stone or brick.

The incident happened at around 10.15pm as the bus was driving along Westway towards Eastway.

Witnesses say they saw three 16-year-old youths wearing dark clothing in the area at the time of the attack.

The incident is still being investigated by police. Anyone with information should contact police on 0845 6060247.
