Appeal after man attacked near Scarborough car park

POLICE are today appealing for witnesses to an assault in Scarborough.
It was at the entrance to Burniston Road car park when a 23-year-old man was attacked by three other men.

A North Yorkshire Police spokesman said: "The victim, who sustained a minor head injury in the incident, was unable to give a description of his attackers."

Officers are hoping that potential witnesses were in the area around 12.45pm last Wednesday. Witnesses or anyone who can help is urged to contact PC Christopher Garrick of Scarborough Police on 0845 6060247 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
