RAVEN will perform Christmas, traditional and original songs from their latest CD, at three concerts over the next few weeks.
They will play two fundraising shows, at the Ambassador Hotel in aid of the Samaritans on Saturday, and at the Stephen Joseph Theatre, in aid of its Friends group, on December 4.
On December 11 the sextet will sing at Scarborough Art Gallery's annual concert.
The CD, She is Here, features 10 tracks: She is Here, Sea of Souls, Of Moor and Sea, Wait For Me, In the Blink of an Eye, Stones of Time, Butterfly, Pilgrim, Beginnings and The Journey.
Karen Chalmers, Sarah Dew, Pat Edmond, Jaye Lewis, Sally Lidgley and Nia Davidson play keyboard, recorders, penny whistle, various percussion instruments, guitar, flute and accordion.
Tickets for the Samaritans benefit cost £12 and can be booked by ringing (01723) 366308. Tickets for the Friends benefit cost £6 and can be booked by ringing (01723) 370541.
