THE 80-strong Scarborough Symphony Orchestra is preparing for its last concert of the season.
The concert, entitled Music from the Big Screen, will take place at the Spa Grand Hall on Saturday.

The orchestra will play music from films such as Indiana Jones, Lord of the Rings and the James Bond series.

Spokesman Stewart Thorp says: "Music from the films is always a great crowd puller so it should be a great event - we have a fantastic finale planned."

Shostakovich's second piano concerto is also on the programme, to be played by pianist Frank Hardy.

The concert is due to start at 7.30pm.
