DJ BRETT McMann must be good.
One of his fans, who lives in Ireland, likes him so much he is flying him to Italy to play at his wedding next month.

Jon Burton, who used to live in Scarborough and worked in the marketing department at McCain, saw DJ Brett at the Blue Lounge when it opened.

Brett says: “He loved the music and wanted to book me for his wedding at the start of September. The wedding is in Italy and so I’m getting flown out there.”

Brett, of MCM Entertainments and Scarborough Mobile Discos, says: “When I left Blue Lounge last year, Stuart and Mandy Messruther were good enough to take me straight on at Bar Zero and I’m very appreciative of the DJing I’ve done there over the last year.

“When Blue Lounge opened, I was the DJ there and wrote the music policy, which I believe has a good following by the maturer crowd on a weekend,” Brett says.

“A new manager, Graham Jackson, took over Blue Lounge two weeks ago. He has brought me back in to run the entertainment and DJ regularly for him, so instead of travelling around the country DJing I’m now going to be back in Scarborough. I’ve always enjoyed working locally and will help host the Evening News wedding fayre at the Royal Hotel on October 12.”
