TOP-QUALITY chamber music will be played at the Stephen Joseph Theatre next Wednesday by the Cropper/Welsh/Roscoe piano trio.
Peter Cropper ran the Lindsay string quartet whose disbanding led to the trio's formation in 2005.

Moray Welsh has had a distinguished career as a soloist and chamber musician, and the quality of his playing was recognised by Benjamin Britten when he was very young.

Martin Roscoe has performed with all the major orchestras in the world as a concerto soloist and has worked extensively as a soloist and chamber musician.

The trio will present a programme of Haydn, Beethoven, and Schubert.

The recital is due to start at 7.30pm and will be preceded by a talk on the process of programming a touring concert series by Peter Cropper, at 6pm.
