Ensemble back for gig

THE Cologne New Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra pays its annual visit next Tuesday, at 7.30pm.
The eight-piece ensemble has been visiting the town for several years, to play at St Martin's Church.
The German musicians will play the Summer part of Vivaldi's Four Seasons, Mozart's concerto for horn and orchestra, Mendelssohn's music to A Midsummer Night's Dream, Purcell's Pavane et Chaconne for string orchestra and Pachelbel's canon for three violins and basso continuo.
