VIVE la France, a tribute to French art in various forms, begins a new season of lunchtime concerts at the library tomorrow.
Florist Bernadette Billington will create a Monet painting in flowers, baritone John Noblet will sing French folk songs and music by Fauré, and pianist Vincent Billington will play popular impressionistic solos.

"Add to this the irrepressible violinist Monsieur Phillipe Mindenhall and anything may happen in this fun concert," says promoter Maria Billington.

Vincent will also present The Last Rose of Summer at Filey's Evron Centre on Friday (with Bernadette), the music and story of Lehar and Romberg at St John's Burlington Church in Bridlington next Tuesday and Music to Remember at Whitvy Pavilion next Wednesday.

All the concerts start at 12.30pm.
