SCARBOROUGH Concert Band celebrates its 40th anniversary with a show at Queen Street Central Hall on Saturday, at 7.30pm.
Its ranks will be swelled by about 10 former members who were invited to rejoin for the occasion, making 60 musicians altogether.
Other former members will be in the audience.
Founded as a military band in 1968, it will be conducted by Malcolm Appleby and Caroline Watkinson, with previous conductor Alan Horton guesting for one piece, Phantom of the Opera.
The programme consists of light music – mainly musicals, classical pieces and marches.
