TICKETS are selling well for a pantomime in Burniston later this month.
A large cast will present Jack and the Beanstalk at the village hall from February 28 to March 3, at 7pm.
“The Saturday and Wednesday nights are near to sell-outs,” says co-director Steve Chambers, who plays ‘a very silly yokel’.
The production will be filmed and released as a DVD.
Tickets can be bought at the post office in Burniston or booked by ringing Barbara Chambers on (01723) 870666.

The proceeds will go to a campaign, launched in 2001, to raise enough money to build a village hall in Cloughton.
After the panto, the next fundraising event will be a lunch for Cloughton residents celebrating the Queen’s diamond jubilee, at Town Farm on Sunday June 3.
