Poet all set to come to town

POET, novelist, biographer and former poet laureate Sir Andrew Motion will perform in Scarborough in March.

He will read extracts from his latest book, Silver, and share anecdotes from his life at The Royal Hotel on March 20, from 2.30pm.

Silver, the sequel to his Treasure Island, has a cast of noble seamen and murderous pirates, and tales of love, valour and terrible cruelty.
