Hospital food show causes a stir
SCARBOROUGH Hospital featured on prime time TV as celebrity chef James Martin, left, set out to transform the hospital’s food menu.
Operation Hospital Food with James Martin was shown on BBC2 on Monday night, having been screened last year on daytime TV.
The prime time slot created more reaction to the show, with hospital restaurant Pat’s Place receiving a number of calls yesterday. One caller said he had seen the show and was hoping to come and visit the restaurant in April.
The next episode of the show will be screened on Monday at 7pm on BBC2. Since the project began takings in the restaurant have gone up and the additional income will go back into the kitchen and restaurant.
