Greatest hits theme at concert

VIOLINST Phillip Mindenhall and organist Howard Beaumont will play their greatest hits from TV and radio at tomorrow's lunchtime concert at the library.

Phillip is no stranger to the concert series, having performed many times in a variety of roles; Howard is also a very popular guest artiste.

This is the first time the pair have teamed up for a concert.

They will play a variety of themes including Barwick Green by Haydn Wood which is the theme tune from Britain’s longest running radio soap the Archers.

Howard will show his magnificent organ technique with The Onedin Line by Khachaturian. Another fun theme is the Dick Barton music.

The concert will also feature the Monty Python theme and Last of the Summer Wine.

The concert is due to start at 12.30pm.

Admission is by collection on the door.
