I am writing on behalf of the Meningitis Trust to thank everyone from Yorkshire who held, or took part in a Toddle Waddle fundraising event for us – making our 21st anniversary Toddle Waddle one to remember.
Two events took place across Yorkshire, raising a total of £565.57 for our work, allowing us to continue providing support to anyone struggling to cope with the impact of meningitis, right across the UK.

Toddle Waddle is a fun, sponsored walk
or waddle – designed specifically for the under 5s.

This age group are an ‘at risk’ group for meningitis, so it’s important for us to engage with their parents, carers and family; all whilst raising vital funds for our work and having lots of fun.

The money raised will be used to provide practical and emotional support to families and individuals, whose lives have been shattered by meningitis.

We offer support to anyone who has been affected by the impact of the disease, through a range of professional support services.

As we get no government funding, we are reliant on voluntary donations to continue our work in the communities. Toddle Waddle is our biggest fundraising event, so we are really grateful to everyone who made this year another successful one for us.
