THIS week, I have heard the most beautiful, classical piano playing when I visited St Mary's Parish Church on Tuesday at noon, and I wanted Scarborough people to be made aware of it so that they can enjoy it too.
John Haslam is a most gifted pianist who says he has to practise for hours to get that good.

As soon as he played the first note of Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata, it touched me to the depths of my soul. A woman along from me was moved to tears and the people having a coffee couldn't believe their luck.

Who says you don't get owt for nowt these days?

I wasn't aware it was on all summer and I wanted to give classical music lovers the opportunity to go along and hear it for themselves.
