RE: Scarborough Hospital.
Two years ago my wife had a hip replacement at the hospital and this year I have received treatment for a heart attack and undergone tests.

My wife was extremely satisfied with her treatment and after-care, although the nurses seemed overworked and under-staffed.

I have also been extremely satisfied with the treatment I have received both at the hospital and by the staff and doctors at Eastfield Medical Centre.

Until three years ago we lived in Greater Manchester and I can assure anyone that the medical care in Scarborough is far superior to the care we received at our former hospital and doctor's practice.

Every day another letter supporting our local hospital sevices and the staff, keep em coming.

At least the NHS hospital trust are fulfilling one promise to the people of the area, advertising for more staff, unlike the downright lies coming from Conservative quarters.

Now it has been confirmed officially by the UK Statistics Authority that the Conservatives have continually misled the public about crime, schools and hospitals, up and down the country Conservative candidates and their accolytes are using these dodgy statistics.

LIES, DAMN LIES and TORY CRIME STATISTICS.
Conservative Shadow Home Secretary is accused of using figures 'likely to mislead the public'

Perhaps the recent Conservative organised condemnation of our local hospital meeting at the Oasis Centre could learn something from this, like do not tell lies, you will always be found out eventually.

Chris Grayling, the man lined up by David Cameron to be the next home secretary, has received a stinging rebuke for manipulating official statistics from Sir Michael Scholar, chairman of the UK Statistics Authority.

David Cameron, Chris Grayling, Robert Goodwill and Jane Kenyon should apologise for continually misleading the British people and more importantly the people of Scarborough, Whitby and Filey about crime, schools and hospitals, they have plenty of form on this.

In order to justify talking Britain down they have quoted dodgy statistics about crime, schools and hospitals.

I also notice something strange about all these letters. They always seem to be praising the nursing staff and the doctors. It's a bit odd that they never mention the middle managers, accountants, HR people, part-time temporary interim acting directors of whatnot, or members of the trust board. Can anyone shed any light on this omission?
