Last year we visited a bar in Sliema, Malta, and inside the bar were football scarves of all the famous English football clubs on the walls. It was very impressive but there wasn't a Scarborough scarf.
The owner asked if we could get a scarf. When we got home we searched and made phone calls – but we just couldn’t get a Scarborough scarf.

One day we went into the Blind Association charity shop in Falsgrave and casually mentioned to Sue Buckley, the shop manager, that we were looking for a football scarf, thinking it was hopeless.

Sue very kindly made phone calls for us. On Monday we proudly posted a Scarborough football scarf to Changes bar in Sliema, Malta.

We are delighted. A big thank you to Sue and all who helped us get the scarf.
