RE: the dog attacks in West Square – it's not the dog, it's the owner to blame.
Some people in this town seem to think it's OK to walk about with dogs off leads.

Keep the Staffy on his lead – problem solved.

My dog goes out on lead and is kept on it.

Er, yes. Dogs are only rarely prosecuted for being off the lead, you generally find it's their owners.
