WE have just returned home from our week's holiday in Scarborough, and we wanted to say thank you to your town for our stay with you.
Although the weather was nothing to write home about we still had a good time.

We wanted to give your lovely market a mention; we were very surprised how quiet it was there.

We called in every day and it seemed very few people know you have a market; my favourite stall was the haberdashery and craft stall.

And we did not know that Scarborough market has the only Yorkshire Air Ambu-lance shop in the whole of Yorkshire (with a great selection of books for when it’s raining).

You have also made a very good job of the new promenade and harbour.

Thank you Scarbor-ough, see you next year.
