IT IS with enormous pleasure that I learned that the Coronia will be able to resume its highly pleasurable trips between Whitby and Scarborough.
This is a classic case of people power over our political masters, both at home and in Europe.

The icing on the cake would be the payment of ADEQUATE compensation for Captain Tom Machin, his hospitable crew and all those people whose holidays were ruined.

There is now no need to fly the skull and crossbones, and we can sail under the Union Flag with a bit more pride now that common sense has prevailed in the long run.
