I WAS horrified to read that Andrew Devine, found guilty of downloading 382 pornographic images of young children, received only a two-year community order.
Even more disgraceful was the defence’s contention that his client “did not represent a danger”.
The children who are forced to take part in such pornographic video clips are now scarred for life.
Early childhood trauma and abuse live on in the memory, affecting relationships, probably for ever. These poor children have been exposed to a level of danger we cannot begin to imagine so people like Devine can get their kicks.
I wonder how his defence lawyers would react if a child in their family had suffered in that way?
